Hi TM1 and Planning Analytics community, it is Bryan from Cubewise. I’m thrilled to bring you the latest update on IBM Planning Analytics Workspace for version 2.0.95, which was just released on April 23rd, 2024. Stay ahead of the curve with these exciting new features.

Let’s start by looking at what’s new in Books and Reporting. An advanced synchronisation setting has been released, allowing you to customise how each hierarchy is displayed in the Cube viewer or visualisation when a widget receives a synchronisation event. Within the advanced synchronisation panel, you can choose which hierarchy is displayed on the row, column and filter, also known as the context area, when synchronisation occurs on a set or member.

Next, let’s look at what’s new with Plans and Applications. With this version, you can create tags for Tasks to enhance content management, user experience, and discoverability on the Overview page.

Next, here are the newest additions in Modeling. There are many improvements that have been added to the File Manager, which include the ability to create folders and subfolders, move files using Cut, Copy and Paste, and compress or expand files or folders using Zip.

Have you encountered data that shouldn’t have been overwritten? This rollback feature with its ability to roll back one or more transactions from the transaction log would be perfect for fixing this issue. The thread monitoring tool is now easier to access when developing. Simply right-click on the database, then go to Threads. This will open up the thread monitoring tool.

Now for deprecations, this is a reminder that IBM will end support for Linux Red Hat Enterprise 7 (Local Only) at the end of June, 2024. And support for Windows Server 2016 (Local Only) will end at the end of 2024. And that wraps up the updates on IBM Planning Analytics Workspace.
