This will be a repository that will continue to grow so you can gain more knowledge within this course.

A new training insight has been added to the TM1py Fundamentals training resource!   

In most TM1py scripts it is necessary to query cube data from TM1. Usually, TM1py scripts are also parametrized. For instance, a timeseries forecasting script must work for any given region and product element.

So TM1py scripts must be capable of querying TM1 data dynamically based on passed parameters.

The best way to accomplish this is to use MDX with MDXpy.

It is important to note that from an end-user standpoint, very little has changed in TM1 v12, where you have already migrated to IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (“PAW”) and IBM Planning Analytics for Excel (“PAfE”).
