Pulse Instance Settings
The instance settings need to be entered for each TM1 instance, the page can be split into three sections: Settings, Display Scales and Documentation / Change Tracking:

Settings
CAM Namespaces: Required for disconnecting users when CAM security is used (security mode 4 or 5), separate by comma.
Delete Log Files Older Than: Automatically delete log files in the TM1 log directory that are older X number of days.
Allow Service Control: Allows the TM1 service to be started and stopped from Pulse.

Active: Mark the service as Active/Inactive. An inactive service will not be monitored by Pulse.
Documentation / Change Tracking Settings
This section is very important, this is where you enter the TM1 admin credentials allowing Pulse to connect to the TM1 instance:

Documentation Error Notification Group: Notify this email group if documentation fails

Performance Monitor On: Required for cube performance statistics
Source Control Enabled: Stores the TM1 objects in a source control repository
Change Frequency: How often Pulse checks for changes in the TM1 instance in seconds
Display Scales
Users Max: The maximum number of users to display in performance charts on desktop client.
Waiting Max: The maximum number of users in ‘wait’ state to display in performance charts on desktop client.
Wait Time Max: The maximum amount of wait seconds to display in performance charts on desktop client.
CPU Max: The maximum CPU to display in performance charts on desktop client, useful in multiple core environments
