Introduction to IBM Planning Analytics
This is the first course all users must enrol in to learn the value and benefit of IBM Planning Analytics to empower your understanding of how it works and its flexibility to provide analytics capabilities to optimise any part of the organisation’s functions.
End User (Excel)
You will learn how to use the interface efficiently and its integration with Excel to build spreadsheet reports utilising data stored in IBM PA.
Advanced Reporting (Excel)
This course is deep dive into the most formative reporting type in IBM Planning Analytics, Dynamic Report. You will learn to take advantage of Dynamic Report’s consolidation expandability and automated format definitions, key features you need to know.
End User (PAW)
PAW (Planning Analytics Workspace) is a web-based application that provides data visualisation capabilities and advanced planning functionalities. In this course, you will learn essential end-user features covering data interrogation, data manipulation, importing data and building a dashboard from scratch.
End User MDX (PAW)
When retrieving a list of members in a dimension or analysing cube data, IBM Planning Analytics utilises the language Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) to query the TM1 Server. There is an advantage in understanding how to read and write MDX for end users, as it will provide extra controls to enhance report building in Excel and dashboards in Workspace.
End User (Slice)
Slice is an Excel add-in that allows you to display and update values from a TM1 database using cell-based functions. This course will give you the fundamentals to begin utilising Slice.
Developer Fundamentals
Gain the confidence to understand how your organisation’s model was put together by enrolling in the Developer Fundamentals course. Here, you will learn how to read the logic used in the business logic and interrogate the data.
